Illustrations created for the ‘All you need for a good date’ Soulmates campaign. This new direction generated a huge uplift in registrations for the online dating site.

For Frieze 2009 Alexie created the ‘Current colours’ concept – equating recent news stories with a colour: Recession Red, Swine Flu Yellow, Ashes Green. The postcards were a VIP giveaway, and doubled as stand decoration. Bags printed with art headlines from 2009 online coverage including favorite ‘Too Cool for art School’.

Identity, launch campaign, web skinning and invitations designed for the Guardian Cannes Lion initiative. When the Guardian became the UK representative for Cannes Lions we developed a campaign to engage London’s advertising world.
