The Guardian at Frieze

For Frieze 2009 Alexie created the ‘Current colours’ concept – equating recent news stories with a colour: Recession Red, Swine Flu Yellow, Ashes Green. The postcards were a VIP giveaway, and doubled as stand decoration. Bags printed with art headlines from 2009 online coverage including favorite ‘Too Cool for art School’.
